EDITING

This service is for authors who only have a hard copy of their manuscript. Service is only for typing the manuscript as is into a Microsoft Word document, which is needed for the publishing process. Please note that Data Entry does not edit the manuscript in any way, but only enters your manuscript into an electronic (computer) system.

Our basic copy-editing service is reviewed by one of our editors. Their responsibility is to correct any error in grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization and syntax. The publishing industry prefers the Chicago Manual of Style guide.

Once our editing is complete, we will send to you the edited version of your manuscript for your review.  You will have the opportunity to accept or reject any or all edit markups. 

Our basic copy-editing service is automatically included in the line-editing service. Our line editing service will provide you with a focus on improving the flow and readability of your work so your message is clearly understood by the reader. Some sentences that may be too wordy and not clearly understood are rewritten. We also adjust paragraphs, and we strengthen chapter transitions.
